Over the years ICOTEA has obtained many other ACCREDITATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS that have allowed it to significantly expand its training offer.

It’ s very simple! Once you have chosen the course on the website www.icotea.it click on “Subscribe” in yellow, proceed to the purchase, fill in your data, choose the payment method and confirm the purchase.

At the end of the procedure send to icotea@icotea.it the training voucher/registration form (generated by the purchase procedure) filled in and signed and a copy of the payment receipt.

Within 24 working hours, will be sent to your email (check also in spam) registration procedure and access key.

Minimum Duration:

Bachelor’s degree: 3 years.
One-year postgraduate courses / one-year specialization courses: 12 months.
Two-year postgraduate courses: 24 months.
Single courses: from 30 to 75 days according to the number of cfu.
IT certifications: from 60 to 100 days.
Advanced training courses: 100 days.
Language Certifications: 15 days + exam
Other courses: from 7 days to 60 days.

Once you have chosen the online training course, click on the “Discover more” button to display the web page containing detailed information: course objectives, job opportunities, economic benefits, access qualifications, teaching methods, study plan, etc..

A window located on the right side of the web page, will provide clear indications on:

  • quantity;
  • training voucher;
  • total price of the course
  • enrollment fee;
  • installment payments.

To enroll, select the quantity and click on “Enroll”.

At this point the course will be added to the Shopping Cart, visible in the upper right corner, as shown below

Click on the Shopping Cart, view its contents and “Proceed to Checkout“.

To continue with the purchase enter your email.

You will see a web form that must be completed with all your data and flagged for acceptance.

Clicking on “Continue” you will see the payment methods available: PayPal, Bank Transfer, Postagiro/Bonifico Postale, Ricarica Postepay.

After indicating the chosen payment method, click on “Continue“: you will get a summary of your order.

Go to “BUY” in the lower part of the poster on the right, in this way you complete the whole procedure.

In your email you will receive three emails, the first one “WELCOME“, the next one containing the confirmation of the registration of your “ORDER” and another one, finally, that confirms the “RECEIPT OF THE PURCHASE ORDER” and transmits in attachment the training voucher to be completed, and to be sent to icotea@icotea.it with the copy of the paid registration fee.

ACCESS TO LESSONS:

Once the registration has been formalized (training voucher + registration fee), in order to allow you to access the lessons in the “E-LEARNING” section, which can be activated by clicking on the relative symbol at the top right of the home page and reproduced in the space below, ICOTEA will send you an email with the registration procedure, schedule and access key.

Within 24 hours after registration, the student will be notified of the registration procedure and will be given the access key for the chosen training course, where he will find all the lessons he can attend.

Here is the procedure to register on the ICOTEA e-learning platform:

  • On the e-learning section of the ICOTEA website enter your username and password, then proceed with the facial biometric identification.
  • You will be asked to take a photo through the webcam of your PC or the camera of your device.
  • We recommend you to frame the face totally in the photo, without covering it with hands, hair, headphones or other.

The lessons are in scorm, i. e. consequential, the physical presence of the student is therefore required in order to continue with the following lesson and to access to the intermediate and final exams.

Final exams consist of a series of multiple-choice tests and an oral exam.

The teacher will now complete the exam with an oral interview through the ZOOM platform (before the date of the exam you will be sent a guideline to register to ZOOM). The questions will cover the topics of the study plan chosen by the student.

After passing the final exams, ICOTEA will check the “Access Reports“, and will issue the final certificate only if the lessons have been downloaded and the written exam (multiple choice test) and the oral exam have been passed.

The final certificate can be downloaded from the e-learning platform at the top of the page of the training course in which you are enrolled, after having taken and passed the final test and oral exam, paid the balance and spent the period of the duration of the training course.

The degree in Linguistic Mediation and the Postgraduate courses are university training courses, therefore there is a prohibition of contemporaneity with other university courses.

Once you have created your account on the ICOTEA e-learning platform and logged in using facial biometric recognition, you can follow the lessons available 24/7.

The lessons are in scorm, that means consequential, so the physical presence of the student is necessary to continue with the next lessons and to access the various intermediate and final exams.

The final exams consist of a series of multiple choice tests and an oral exam.
The tests include multiple choice/closed questions to be completed in 60 minutes within our e-learning platform.

At the end of your test, the teacher may request an oral exam, on the zoom platform.
The language certifications include a final exam lasting about 5 hours, with 4 tests: written comprehension/production and oral.

During account creation, you will be asked to take a photo of yourself using the webcam of your PC or the camera of the device from which you are connecting.

We recommend that you put your face inside the frame, without covering it with hands, hair, headphones or other.

Our learning platform is accessible 24/7 so that you can study whenever you want.

After enrolling in a training course, ICOTEA will send your username and password to your email address within 24 hours. In this way you will be able to attend the chosen course on the ICOTEA e-learning platform.

You will have the support of a tutor who will follow you during your training, responding within 24 hours to questions and requests that you have forwarded to: icotea@icotea.it.

The Training Voucher is an economic facilitation that ICOTEA makes available to students for partial coverage of the total amount of the training courses.

The Training Voucher is compatible with the “Teacher’s Card € 500,00“. ICOTEA is a ministerial training institute accredited by MIUR under Directive 170/16 Merchant Code ZAIXV. Teachers will therefore be able to enroll in our training courses by taking advantage of the Teacher’s Card.

How to generate the voucher with the Teacher’s Card:

  • Enter in Carta del docente through Spid
  • Insert password and username already generated
  • Click on “Receive code via SMS
  • Enter the code received and the page will open in the name of the teacher
  • Select type of trader: “PHYSICAL BODY” Field “TRAINING AND UPDATING” (accredited/qualified bodies in accordance with Directive 170/2016, degree courses, postgraduate courses, courses recognized in accordance with Directive 170/2016, university masters, training courses for educational institutions)
  • Click “Create Voucher“: enter the amount, save the voucher created and send it to icotea@icotea.it

N.B. For any password problem, please contact the MIUR technical office.

Icotea, as a University Institute, has the Ateco code 85.42, assigned by C.C.I.A.A. Therefore, the training courses provided by Icotea are exempt from VAT.

So our trainees can deduct for tax purposes a higher percentage than other Institutes/Bodies.

Since 01/01/2019 electronic invoicing has come into force. Trainees who enroll in our training courses and proceed to payment will automatically receive the invoice via email.

Owners of a unique code or pec will have to insert them in the registration order.

You can download from the e-learning platform both your Final Certificate and the certification containing the topics dealt with in your education programme once you pass the final exam and pay the balance, and according to the established timetable.

For people who enrolled by 30/09/2018:

  • you must send your final thesis as a PDF or a Word document to icotea@registerpec.it which will be valid as the final exam;
  • at the end of your training, ICOTEA will check “Access Reports”, in case of negative evaluation you will receive an email, urging the formalities required;
  • you can download from the e-learning platform both your Final Certificate and certification containing topics dealt with in your education programme once you pass the final exam and pay the balance, and according to the timetable established by your course.

For people who enrol from 01/10/2018:

  • The final exams consist of a series of multiple-choice tests and an oral exam.
  • The teacher will now complete the exam with an oral interview through the ZOOM platform (before the date of the exam you will be sent a guideline to register to ZOOM). The questions will cover the topics of the training plan chosen by the student.

ECTS Credits – European Credit Transfer System

What are the ECTS?

ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) correspond to the Italian CFUs and represent a manner of measuring the student workload in the Italian universities. This system was introduced by the university reform M.D. 3 November 1999 n. 509.

A certain number of ECTS is associated to each university exam. Conventionally 1 ECTS is equivalent to 25 hours of study. In order to obtain the Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Mediation, the student needs to earn 180 credits (in accordance with the Ministerial Decree n. 38 10 January 2012), which are divided over three years.

The really interesting aspect for those who want to enrol in this degree course is that it is possible to validate several CFU graduate in a short time, thanks to the recognition of University Educational Credits, which are the result of previous university careers, concluded or suspended, and of working experiences related to the world of language mediation.

Icotea doesn’t recognize previously acquired credits, except for the bachelor’s degree course in Lingusitic Mediation.

ECTS and Single courses

In order to acquire any missing ECTS in a specific disciplinary field, you can enrol directly in one subject as a single course.

The credits obtained are certified and valid according to the regulations in force.

Students enrolled in other University Institutions, AFAM Institutions and Fine Arts Academies can enrol in our single courses as far as it is allowed by the institutions they belong to.

 

CME Credits – Continuing Medical Education

What is the CME system?

The CME system (Continuing Medical Education) is a system that includes the organized and controlled set of all training activities, promoted by anyone with the aim of maintaining high and updated professionalism among health professionals.

What are CME credits?

CME credits are a measure of the commitment and time that each healthcare professional has dedicated annually to training or updating the quality level of their profession.

ICOTEA is CME Provider n. 4182

ICOTEA has been accredited by the Ministry of Health as Provider n. 4182 for CME training – Continuing Medical Education. Therefore, Icotea is authorized to provide training for healthcare professionals and issue certification of training credits to its students.

Professional Training Credits – PTC (CFP in Italian)

What are the PTC?

In 2013 ICOTEA introduced the Professional Training, dedicating some space to the updating courses for professionals. Immediately after the introduction of compulsory Continuing Education for members of the respective professional orders in January 2014, ICOTEA obtained the accreditation as CME Provider no. 4182 for the health professions.

ICOTEA is recognized and authorized as a provider of distance learning by several Orders, Professional Associations and Colleges.

Who is ICOTEA?

Right of Withdrawal: The Customer who has the status of consumer or user under Art. 3, co. 1, letter a) of Legislative Decree no. 6 September 2005, n. 206 and ss. mm. (Consumer Code) has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving reasons, within 14 days from the date of registration.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform by registered mail ICOTEA Via XX Settembre n. 16, 97014 Ispica (RG) of its decision to withdraw from the contract through an explicit statement.

The procedure of enrollment to our training courses is considered completed and finalized even with only one of the following methods: direct purchase on our site or payment of the registration fee or sending the registration form or voucher or have used the lessons or part of them.

Users enrolled in our training courses that for any reason require suspension/cancellation, are still required to pay the total amount of the fees.

Payment of the total amount due must be made together with the suspension/cancellation request.

Students enrolled in our training programs for English/Russian/Spanish language certifications who do not show up for the exam session for which they have registered are required to pay a penalty of 99.00 euros.

Users enrolled in our training courses concerning the German language certification who do not present themselves at the exam session for which they have booked, are required to pay a penalty of 150.00 euros.

The Competent Court is the Court of Ragusa.
